I'm Jo — a Software Engineer passionate about turning ideas into
solutions.
Hi there! I graduated in May 2024 from Utah Tech University with a B.S. in Software Engineering.
I earned an approximate major GPA of 3.8 and a strong passion for
solving complex problems through technology. Born and raised in St.
George, Utah, I spend my free time snowboarding, hiking, and diving
into YouTube rabbit holes to keep learning.
Professionally, I’ve contributed to projects in Revenue Operations,
virtual reality, and backend automation. At beatBread, I enhance
B2B/B2C sales pipelines and CRM systems to optimize client
relationships. I’ve also built immersive virtual physics labs in
Unity using C#, and automated ETL workflows with Python and Prefect.
My technical toolkit includes: Swift, Python, SQL, C#, C++, C,
JavaScript (and frameworks), HTML/CSS, MongoDB, PostgresDB, AWS,
GitHub, API integration, CRM tools, SEO, UI/UX design, Agile
methodologies, and both backend and frontend development. I’m also
experienced in object-oriented programming and client-server
architecture.
I’m driven by curiosity, creativity, and a desire to build software
that makes a difference. This site highlights some of the work I’ve
done so far—thanks for stopping by!
